I agree 100%. I don't mind the blemishes much, I've let spots go unattended on the sidepipes, and even have a dent in the rear quarterpanel that I've grown to like.

If the car were painted, I'd worry constantly about the finish. With the bare aluminum, ANYTHING can be fixed without a total repaint. I drive mine almost every day, and the naked body (can I say that?) is perfect for that.
