The current Lucas wiper kit that is sold for replicas uses a modern round motor.

The original, as you have seen, is an older style DR3.

Here's a picture of one of mine...



There are variations of the DR3 and the DR3A that have different wiring. The model used in the Cobra had the six (I think) pigtails that match to Lucas splices to mate to the harness. I'll check my Lucas parts book from '66 to find a part number.

I ended up buying several different motors and 'rebuilding' one to match the correct style.

Finding NOS is hard and expensive. Used ones can be refurb'd to look nice.
Pay attention to the wiring....I think you might have to use a matching dash wiper switch for the old style motors....which is harder to find than the motor itself.
