Just get some silver paint, and do the brush strokes front-to-back, and get a good build-up of paint on the car. AFTER the paint dries, start experimenting with different grits of sandpaper/emery cloth, again sanding from front-to-rear, (or rear-to-front), until you get the desired brushed "arruminum" look that you are looking for.
