Power Surge Gaskets are gaskets when installed correctly The 1246 felpros will work great, Make sure you check the
oil returns in the corners and the coolant ports that they line up correctly. I use HighTAC sealer on both sides of the gasket, This a ***** to get off but have not had a leak in the upper end yet. Use sealant from GM part# 12378521, I think they stole this from the Japanese car builders. 3/8" line of sealant, you have 2 minutes until it skins. In 2 hours, you can go racing. Will not leak as long as surfaces are CLEAN AND DRY. I use this on all my motors. Some silicones eat the Aluminium parts, this doesn't. Rick Lake
