You raise a very valid point Warren, they (Ford) are probably well within their rights to withdraw approval if they so wish...
If the shoe was on the other foot, say people were fitting some "wicked Ford motor" (which, by the way seems quite unlikely
) to Torana's, I could see people arcing up. This analogy is not correct though, because Torana's were actually made by Holden/GM. If we were putting LS1's in XC Falcons I could understand.
My point here is, that MY Body/Chassis didn't come from Ford, didn't go near a Ford factory and doesn't even have one single Ford part in/on it (to the best of my knowledge)....
Just putting this question out there. Does anyone put Ford engines into Chevs/Holdens???
As for the name Cobra, can you actually "own" the name of an animal that occurs in nature? (serious question?)
