I have to eat some crow here, let’s see if I choke on the feathers.
I just examined a Dec 67 SO Ford block that has the standard motor mount pattern on the LH side. The SO block I have is a Jan 66 and has the bolt hole located 3/8" higher in the block above the
oil galley. Somewhere in this time span ford changed bolt hole location.
