I only had to replace the shaft with one that had been shortened. I reused the bearing retainer, (shaft sleeve), without modification. Turn the gearbox upside down, tilted to the front so the roller bearings come out with the shaft. If a roller bearing does drop into the case, it will be easier to retrieve with it up side down, and tilted. Use anaerobic sealer to reseal the bearing retainer and use thread sealer on the bearing retainer bolts.

Oh yea, the garage wasn't done yet, so the kitchen counter worked great until she came home.
