Vernon is approximately 55 miles west of Wichita Falls on 287. (I would like to come to your meetings if not for the distance.)

The rooms book up a year in advance. You could come for the day or try to find a place to stay in Quanah, 30 miles west or Altus, OK, 35 miles north. This is its 11th year and it's a big deal around here. Let me know if I can help you find accomodations or register. The actual cruise is limited to 1,000 cars.

Hope of some of you can make it. Bring plenty of water - it usually hot!

I think Tom was here last year.
