Sorry Steve, I don't have any more time to deal with trying to make you understand. I have real world issues to deal with for my clients who live in the real world. You are concerned about a single issue concerning databases...same stuff ACLU types keep bringing up. I, and others who live with this every damn day, are trying to deal with workable solutions for hundreds of millions of employees and their employers so that enforcement can be enhanced rather than chained down. I'm sure you have assplained your concerns to your own satisfaction, but it is this tail wagging the dog syndrom that high tech folks keep getting embroiled in that causes the rest of us to have to deal with HD DVD vs. Blueray bullsh!t today just like Beta vs. VHS crap decades ago.
We want federal phot IDs and real time SS numbers checks...who gives a rat's ass how it gets done. I truly don't give a damn how the plumbing works below my toilet, so long as the sumb!tch flushes.
Michael...yup. It's an issue of enforcement, and so long as folks keep throwing up individual privacy issues, it will continue to be a problem regardless of what the law says.
I'm not real sure about those numbers though...have you checked the stadiums?
