I decided to go on a little cruise this past Saturday also, and enter my car in the Luckenbach car show. It looked like rain, so I checked out the weather radar and it indicated that rain was likely only east of 35. I live just east of Dripping Springs. which is far west of 35, so it looked good to go. The sun was out, so I took off out 290 and just as I got to Drippin', it started to rain! I almost turned around, but decided to try a little farther. Just as I got past Drippin', the sun came out again. I had a great drive to Luckenbach and the day was perfect, with lots of sunshine and cool breezes. After the car show, I headed home and you guessed it, just as I got to Drippin', it started to rain again. Just past Drippin', it cleared up again! I guess that is why it is called Drippin'. Skip
