I beleive a Lone Star is fairly similiar to the CR. On my CR I use bilstein gas charged shocks in the rear and QA1 single adjustable MII shocks in the front. The bilsteins can be adjusted but I have to take them down to the local distributor for revalving (no charge). My spring rates are 250 in rear (shocks are oriented straight up) and 500 in front (standard MII configuration). I recently changed from Carrera non adjustables all the way around and really like the new setup. With slicks the car holds its own on the track against modern day competition (GT3, ZO6, lotus; etc.)
