WOW, thanks so much - since my engine is altered, i.e. cam, carb, etc. I'm screwed as far as passing in CA based on a 60's engine - it does appear that securing an SB100 - on of 500 per year is the only clear option. My understand is that even if my Cobra passes, I'd need to go the CA BAR every two years for smog and pass each time.

Geez - CA is a bummer when it comes to kit cars.
