				Origin of " AC "

		FYI, from the article:
At the dawn of the motor car, a small British company developed a three-wheeled delivery vehicle under the trade name Automated Carrier. The driver sat over the rear wheel, behind a cargo box mounted on the two front wheels, and the engine was under the driver’s seat.

The “box carrier” was introduced in 1903 and thousands were sold. Indeed, it became fashionable for companies to have what became known as an Auto Carrier as both a moving billboard and a delivery vehicle.

In 1912, the AC company introduced a passenger version — the Sociable — with a two-seat bench replacing the cargo box.
