Hello,

Well, besides the one in 5000 pieces in my garage, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a running Cobra to drive while I finish the garage special. Unfortunately, the guy is telling me a few things and I just want an opinion on whether I'm being paranoid or not.

1) The car has a title from California where the original owner lives. He traded the car to the guy I bought it from.
2) The car is located in Florida, but the owner lives in Michigan. He states that it is sitting in a friend's garage.
3) He has a signed and notarized title from the original owner, but never had the car put in his name.

I don't know if I'm being a bit paranoid, but I'm not into handing over large sums of money to individuals that do not possess the physical car or has the title in his name.
