What weight is a fully trimmed, painted and accessorised CR? I find that hard to believe it could be less than 1100kg. I thought that separate body & chassis unit construction would have to mean you end up with a heavier end product. Considering they only test the chassis itself for torsional tests.
I can believe that Aussie Mike's could be close to 1000kg's. An equivalent Harrison would weigh in at less than 1000kg's, maybe even 950kg. Ours was less than 1000kg when rego'd and that was with full screen and we didn't bother with aluminium anything or trying to make it lighter.
In my experience they always end up on the heavy end when fully dressed.
