Are you able to post some close up pics. of the finish you got in the engine bay / fire wall? I'm well off painting yet but if I like what I'm seeing I'll know where I'm headed paint wise well in advance.
I also note and assume from your gallery that US auto engineering stds. must be pretty lax.
Our engineers not only expect our gauges to be less than midway across the car, they don't tend to also allow passengers to steer too!!
