I also have alot of chrome going on in the engine bay, but the brushed looks really great. Have had polished aluminum many times on the engine in the past, and emptied many tubes of Simichrome...now Wenol. This time bought one with all natural finishes and like it lot better. Love the surge tank. Will try the Scotchbrite with Lacquer thinner. Wondered how that brushed look "happened". Always thought it was wet or dry!!
