An important factor you need to determine is what ADR's you are allowed to build to and hence particularly what engine you can use. The ADR's control emission levels and most of the eastern states only now allow B series Ford or second generation Chebby aluminium beer coasters.
If you try hard you can make a lot of bits fit but it does depend on the look you want and what you are willing to sacrifice ie money or appearance if certain items more meet your tastes.
Obviously a late model donor can provide engine, box, loom and associated electrics so these are some of the more major bits. Bonus is if you can make the steering column, stalks etc fit plus fuel tank and pump and even heater.
Just depends on how handy you are with your hands and tools!
The Jag suspension will have to be got on its own but again buying right might better any deal you can get over individual parts purchases.
If you have time on your side even Ebay can be of help and save you money!
As to the GF list of parts, it is dated and I felt of little value. There are several WA builders on the forum and I expect they should chime, in so you can talk further with them, perhaps over a beer!
Good luck with the hunt and research.
Cheers
