That is very well done. Very nice indeed. I think you have done a great job so far – you should be proud

You might want to consider a separate electric service box.
You cannot have too much light.
On the ceiling I have:
1. 4 rows of 4 tube fluorescents
2. 16 - 250 watt halogens (this really gets it warm in the winter)
at the top of the walls:
3. Incandescent every 4 feet.
It still could be more—I still need a flashlight sometimes and my area is smaller than yours.
(You might want to consider where you work benches and tools will go before you decide on a final lighting layout)

Same hold true with outlets - every 4 feet at a minimum.

The A/C is a nice touch. Your ceiling are high enough you might want to consider ceiling fans.

I did not use dry wall – I used that fiberboard product that is gloss white on one side. I do not believe I will ever need to paint it. It reflects light well and it will not get damaged if something hits it.
