Rebuilder came over last night a determined that the cause was pre-detination. He took both heads to make sure that they are still in good conditon and flat back to the shop. He will be ordering all of the gaskets and the one pushrod. No damage done to the block. The plan is to put her back together this Saturday with the Holly carb guy also there. They will make sure that when they leave that the car will be runnng like she should be.

On all of the cylinders, you could see that the black carbon was getting by the surrounding cylinder head gasket seal. The driver side head gasket also had the same tear as the passengerside. It was just a matter of time before i drowned out that cylinder too.

Learning alot but at a great deal of expense.
