"The rumor mill suggests that there may be a dark side to gene therapy along the weight control front. Early word on related studies suggests some unwanted side effects need to be overcome:
- male mice grow long manes of fast-growing shiny head hair (AND THE DOWNSIDE IS....) , their external genetalia shrinks and becomes almost internal, (YEA, BUT REALLY, WHOSE AMONGST US HASN'T) they become difficult to awaken (I'M ALREADY THERE), and they spend increased hours grooming and preening; (THAT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE CHECKING OUT THEIR AMAZING 6-PACK ABS!)

So the dark side as I understand it is I'd have a head of hair like Fabio, be less obtrusive in a Speedo, sleep later and spend longer checking out my gorgeous physique.
