The 289 cars had a rear "stone shield" that was riveted to the aluminum trunk dividers. The shield was "L" shapped with the long part of the "L" mounted horizontal (i.e., above the tire & parallel to the ground) and the short part of the "L" mounted in a vertical position behind the tire. The shield was used to prevent stones from damaging the body. The large piece may be a rear stone shield. The next smallest piece looks like a heat shield..... either for a battery or the master cylinders on a car with side pipes. The small "L" shaped priece must have been a patch panel used in conjunction with the front inner panels? ..... or maybe someone is just messing with you.
