Agree 1000% about marking every wire. Do not cut any wire.

Take a lot of pictures when disassembling ... they will help later. Get a spiral bound notebook and take notes about how things are routed, assembled, etc.

Every small part should be put in a clear bag and write down where the part goes using indelible ink on the bag. That includes all bolts, nuts and associated hardware. Wire a paper tag on all big stuff that's too big for a bag. Right down description on the tag.

Do not throw anything away until the Cobra is finished.
