Padding goes over this structure, then the seat cover (vinyl or leather). Incredibly comfortable. Peter has the seat frames, with bladders installed, on the parts mezzanine above the assembly shop. I've heard about those new ones but alas mine are the old fiberglass shell ones with leather.
Still very comfortable to me.
