my fans come on at 90-92 degrees C .... shortly thereafter go off as fans have done their thing - unless in slow crawling traffic .
I have a manual switch that i use in the heavy stop/go traffic . seldom has it ever reached 100 C on the hottest days and by that time the fans are on and again, shortly therafter they go off .
as others have said , perhaps your gauge is not accurate - or perhaps mine either . LOL . Bill
