Just curious Jay,
Why would you announce that you have a permit to carry?
I sense a bit of bravado in your post that makes me uncomfortable that you maybe you would like to show off the special stainless piece.
To me spouting off that you have a "carry" permit is much the same as brandishing which would cause you to lose that permit in nearly all states that allow concealed weapons.
