On Sunday Sept 30, the East Coast Camaro Club had their annual “All Vehicle” car show in Brockton, MA. I had never been to one of their shows, so I bundled up in a warm hat and gloves for the 48°F ride at 8 AM. Thankfully, the weather was fantastic, with a high temp of about 72°F. The show had about 375 to 400 cars. Of course, a ton of Camaros and a half-ton of Corvettes.
They had 33 classes, but nothing for Cobras. So they put me along with two FFR Cobras in the “Custom class”. There was also a few other non-Cobra cars in the class.
I took 3rd place, a ’59 Chevy station wagon and Matthew Andrade from down on the Cape took 1st place with his FFR. He just finished the car a few weeks ago, so he was beaming.
The other Cobra was a really nice looking green FFR. The picture does not do justice to the color. Everybody commented how nice the color was, and that is very unusually for any green car.
I want this street sign ….
Edit - I just removed a ton of pics from my gallery so I revised this post to eliminate a ton of Red X's
