Freddie and I had some very nice (and very informative) private emails. A lot of hatchets were buried (or so I thought). Based on those emails, Freddie and I have a lot fewer disagreements than I originally thought. The difference in opinion between a classic con (him) and a classic lib (a description of me that I don't object to) is a lot less than that of a neo-con and a classic-con. He did encourage me to not be as mean to Mike as I thought Mike deserved. Whether Mike noticed and decided to respond in kind, or he just decided on his own, I don't know. But Mike and I have been quite a bit more civil to each other.

Quite honestly, there are some threads that don't need your political propaganda. This was a simple and honest welcome back to a fellow WWII (and other eras) history nut. If he does not interpret it as that, fine. I'll know not to waste my time in the future.
