Cover your the ends of your exaust pipes. Critters like to crawl in there. If you are worried about mice use decon. Do not start it unless you plan to let it run for at least 20 miniutes. Starting it and running for only a few minutes does more harm than good. Keep the doors and trunk slightly open to prevent the seals from being compressed in the cold climate. This is not really that big of a deal but it does not hurt. I take the battery out and keep it charged.
