Not sure about the rules in your state but in most states now you need an EFI motor to get registered. This means that the 350 chev engine on offer will not be usable for this car. You could probably resell the motor and trans to get some of your money back. If the wiring is set up for this engine then most of the engine loom will be of little use, although the wiring for the lights and dash is handy.

Excluding the engine/trans, the seller has probably incured costs of about $20,000 if he did some of the work himself. Although he states that the rolling chasis kit sells new for $26,000 (which would mean all of the work was done for him by the factory).

I dont know anything about the Evans kit. You might want to ring Evan's and ensure that it meets current ADR's in regards to Torsion beaming standards (chasis strength).

The work done so far looks OK so if it meets the standards it could be a good buy.
