The Driveshaft Shop does the broken half shafts for Superformance regularly. They should know the correct specs if you tell them which rear end you have. As I understand they're down the street from the Olthoff facility. Maybe call the Olthoffs, www.olthoffracing.com ,for a reference and to identify the correct rear end in your car. I have the Ford 8.8 rear end which use to be used in the Superformance. Your car should have the new type of rear end. You might want to take a picture of your rear end and show it to someone familiar with the rear end types used in Superformance to be completely certain before ordering, but I strongly suspect you have the new type. |

I'm running chassis number 2627, so it's the later Dana third-member in our car. I'm very concerned about the half shafts with the amount of torque my PE 514 is putting out, and am on the lookout for anything that would strengthen a potential point of failure.
