Well I would think the term slab side term would apply to ALL the pre 427 street cars. To me it simply denotes the slab on the fenders, not present in the FIA series. Sure, 'street car' would be accurate, perhaps more so. Thanks for that insight from an original owners perspective. The slab side term is widely used throughout the industry (SAAC uses it) and on many many other web sites besides Club Cobra.
