It was a blast. Some how I cracked the side of the carb, took me a while to figure out what was wrong, and then when I put a new carb on, it wouldn't run right. found a crack in the intake, put a new one on, and then about a week later, it just stopped. Engine seized. I think that when the carb was messed up, I somehow got fuel down the vacuum lines into the valve cover and drained into the crank case. When I checked the
oil, it smelled like gas, and felt like water. I ended up selling the truck as it sat for $1,000. Who wanted a non running truck, but the front shocks cost that much new, so there were plenty of parts to tear off that made it a deal for someone.
