well 90% of time i see others solders is definately not neater

why not get the correct plug when they are easily available

so for down the track its just easier to change pump and stuff with factory plugs

whenever i can i try keep things std because if i do the wiring and down the track somneone else has to work on it it is much easier

another reason is most factory holden ford tyota etc plugs are waterproof

plugs from tandy and smithys are not anyway i have afew plugs that match a vn to vs fuel section

so they are not hard to get

anyway go ask an auto electrician he will have muc better stuff than tandy
unless u want a digital camera or a printer to go with it cause thats all they sell these days
