Terry. One of my carb bolts stripped on my 850 Holley some time ago. I bought the helicoil kit ($75) and did all 8 bolts at the same time. My only caution is that the walls can be very thin between the newly drilled and tapped bolt hole(s) and the side of the carb body. While tapping one of my bolt holes, a very slight weeping gas leak was discovered in a thin area after buttoning everything up and turning on the fuel pump. Had to carefully use a little JB Weld to seal it. No leaks again and the repair was practically invisible.
