Yes, they are quite similar in concept and execution, but like most everything on your car, yours is lots shinier!

They work great. After the first couple of drives I haven't thought about pedal locations at all. It's just natural. Before I modified the pedals my size 13s tended to either get both pedals when clutching or go between the throttle and brake when braking.
I think the modification they were discussing involved cutting out the side of the foot box to increase the width. With the pedals moved I don't have a problem with the width. I'm considering a dead-pedal which will likely need to go outside the foot well.
