Just competed the Aussie Mike style shifter mod - very happy with how it turned out - feels great through the gears - reverse lockout works a treat. Ill find out soon enough (or more likely eventually) if the shifter explodes at the end of the straight at Wakefield!
Turned up a knob in the same style as my blinker stalk - AC logo of course (I just dont like the cobra logo that much
) Sitting a little high as I havent thread inside yet - need a 16mm 1.6 (I think) tap.
heres my engine - hopefully next weekend I might bolt em together and mock up on the chassis - Im still saving my pennies for a clutch - hopefully Santa will bring me a Tex
On the body side I have been preping underneath - here she is mounted on a craddle I made to make it a bit easier to work on and move around. Should have that done and ready to paint in a week or 2 (or 3 or 4 etc), weather permitting!
