After that person was hit or injured few years back by some idiot who lost control of his car, I seriously question if anyone will be allowed to light up their tires. Too much liability insurance for the city.

Of course you don't want your girl friend or wife driving if her past record involved the following:
[1] running into your garage,
[2] starting your car while in gear or
[3] causing certain individuals to fall down in there front yards trying to help someone get un-stuck? Heee hjhhehhhe
I remember Pink starting his car in reverse and his wife got thrown over the windshield and into their pool. She missed the whole windshield too!
[PS] Never stand up in one of these cars when you start it in reverse.....
