The Steve Sanderson Charitable Foundation will rev up its fundraising campaign to fight Alzheimer’s Disease by raffling off a Shelby CSX4000 Cobra during John O’Hurley Celebrity Golf Invitational and Gala on September 24, 2001. The event, which will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Dallas, will be held at the Westin Stonebriar Resort in Frisco, Texas. The star-studded event will feature celebrities such as John O’Hurley, Cheech Marin, Alice Cooper, Tom Sneva, Larry Brown and Jim McMahon.
With a 500+ horsepower Ford 427 engine, the aluminum-bodied Cobra is one of the most legendary cars in the world. Raffle tickets are now available through the Foundation’s Internet site (
