I just replaced the front,
oil shocks with gas cartridges...what a great thing for street driving around here. Maybe they're now the standard for the newer BDR's (mine is #183) or maybe you get to choose what you want when you buy new, but this takes the edge off of the road hits especially when coupled with the 12mm springs (were already on) I also replaced the back springs since mine were the larger sized ones that hit the cup. The new ones are are about a 1/2 inch narrower coil. Old ones looked unmatched as well---very different lengths. An upgrade all around. Very nice... Now to replace the steering column bearings to get that up-down play out of the steering wheel, and lower steering shaft with u-joints to get the side to side play out, and I'll have something.
