I think fear helped keep the honest kids in line they knew what disapline was and headed acordingly no one in ther right mind wanted to go to the vise principal for swats it worked now, the liberals want us to be kinder and gentel and the disruptive ones ruin the classes Spare the rod is = to hating your children.
