"I have a pet project that involves the old Cheetahs that were supposed to be the Chevy version of the Cobra. They never did very well, and they only made about 12 or so. They were quite a bit more brutal than a Cobra, though. Who knows...maybe I'll get something published about them as well...

I would like to see more on the Cheetah. From what little I think I remember, it was the last hurrah design for rear driver cars with the driver pretty much sitting above the rear axle. It had wonderful potential but was never sorted out before the front driver mid-engined cars killed it along with the Cobra. I think somebody still offers a replica but it will take a bit to remember his name.
