This is the Sportsman block. The Iron Eagle block has the 4-bolt caps on the ends. Yes, it's more expensive, but it has a few more goodies. This block is rated for 1200hp....so there's no worries.
I think the
oil pan selection is limited with the blocks that have 4-bolt end caps.
