Default Oil pan installation

Hi all. I am getting ready to intall a new oil pan on my 351c and I'm wondering what the concensous is on installation.
The gasket kit consists of 2 neoprene pan rail gaskets and a 2 formed rubber end seal gaskets for the front and rear.
Do I;
1) glue the gaskets and end seals to the engine and install the pan dry? or
2) glue the gaskets and ens seals to the pan and install the pan/gasket/end seal combo dry to the engine? or
3) apply glue both sides of the gaskets and end seals?

What have you all found to be the best glue/sealant for pan gaskets?

Thanks for your help.
Greg
