So I bought my Rolex Submariner back in the early 70's. Paid about 300.00 new. I recently took it to my jeweler to have it cleaned up because I wear it constantly and it gets banged and scratched.

The jeweler told me it's worth alot of money. I said that I knew it was worth a couple of thousand. He said NO...it's a rare one. The word 'Submariner' is written in red on the dial. Plus it was manufactured in 1970. They changed the lettering to white around 1974.

So I go on ebay and they're going for 7500-over 8k! So now I'm paranoid about wearing it anymore. I put it up on ebay and got 7600.00 for it...cash...wired to my account from a collector.

I bought a Luminox 6102 EVO Navy SEAL watch for 400.00.

Hmmmm....now what am I going to buy for my Cobra...????
