I have one of his engines in my car--the 427 Windsor stroker. It is a great engine. He (Ben Smeding) is also a very honest and reputable guy. I had some serious problems with my engine, which, I'm pretty certain were my fault, and he did a complete rebuild (teardown, overbore, new pistons, rings, bearings, distributor, and reassembly) and only charged me his cost for the parts and a very minimal labor charge. I would happily buy another engine from him.
