That was one of the two I thought it might be. The other was the B-17. I think that was what they were trying to make into a remote control bomber and Joe Kennedy was killed in it when it blew up. The B-29 was a reliable bomber and took a lot of punishment.Ron |
Ron,other than the Norden,the B-17 had no computers.Remember,it came off the design boards circa 1935.
