The cruise is setup for March 22. We will meet in front of the Salinas Airport as is is right off the freeway and has a few big paved areas for us to gather in. We will meet between 9:30 and 10:00 AM so we can be to the Lake between 11:30 and Noon. We can either cruise down Hwy.101 or part way down River Rd. which is more curvey and senic. The Parks Dept. is giving us a discount on the park entrance fee so the fee per car is only $6.00. Howard and I are buying the food and drinks and would only ask a small amount per person to help pay for the food. Howard is going early to start the fire and cooking. So anyone that wants to join us, please let us know as soon as possible as we need a head count for buying the food. We will also have our own paved area to park in at the lake (large enough for about 60 cars) and it has a nice view. The Parks Dept. is setting up a party size BBQ and picnic tables just for us.
