Description Stop and take a few minutes to look over this professionally-built, stunningly painted, version of a '66 427 Cobra. This Best of Show winning roadster performs as well on the street as it does competing for First Place trophies. One of the many outstanding features is its drivability, from the streetable 428 Cobra Jet engine linked to a cruiser friendly C6 automatic transmission, to the fully sorted out suspension and ride. The body: Midstates competition body with no doors, Marina Blue with Wimbledon White stripes and stunning paint work, body underside smoothed and detailed in cast gray, updated side impact protection with leather clad, full length, steel interior door panels and polished stainless steel over-riders with chrome bumpers. Under the Bonnet: Ford 428 Cobra Jet 30 over bore, align bored, milled deck, pressure tested and Magna-fluxed heads. New springs, valves and guides. Heavy-duty rocker shafts, forged pistons, stock grind Lunati cam, Cobra Jet crank and rods 10/10, Canton 8 quart road course pan, Mallory Unilite distributor, Holley fuel pump, Ford factory Tri-Power intake with 3 new Holley carbs, finned aluminum Cobra Jet valve covers with matching oval air cleaner, aluminum radiator with Spall electric fan, remote-mounted dual oil filters cooled by the radiator, Brass radiator overflow tank and stainless steel braided lines on cooler. Transmission and Rear Axle: Cast-iron tail shaft Cobra Jet C6 automatic transmission, new stock torque converter, Lincoln Versailles solid rear axle and Ford 9" Traction-Lock differential with 350 Motive gears. Suspension: QA1 fully adjustable coilover springs, ride and height fully sorted out, Team III Halibrand-style rims 15x7" front and 15x10" rear with Cooper Cobra tires and front fully independent tubular unequal length upper and lower A-arms. Brakes: Wilwood master cylinders and 4-wheel disc brakes. Cockpit: 7-layer mahogany LaCarra steering wheel with Cobra insert. Black leather and vinyl interior. VDO gauges with electronic trip and odometer that is fully calibrated. Lokar automatic transmission shifter with neutral lock-out. Chrome fire extinguisher, chrome roll bar, 5-point safety harness, mounted to frame at all points, sound deadening and heat shield insulation, wind wings and tinted visors. Original style bullet mirrors, tunes provided by Shell Valley, silver, jet-coated headers and chrome side pipes. Options and other details: Heavy gage all steel fuel tank with stainless steel straps, correct roller gas cap, detailed and carpeted trunk, rear-mounted Optima gel cell battery with remote power cut-off switch, 2-speed wipers, 3-speed heater with defrost and Spanner wrench for coilovers.
