Merv, I haven't seen a Painless loom in the flesh but I have the American Autowire Highway 15 kit. See here: http://www.americanautowire.com/High...tures%202.html

It has a few extras (hi beam switch, ignition + key, billet headlight switch) over the Painless kits and the modular fuse box is really easy to work with. When I was researching the different kits I found a number of people saying this one had higher gauge wiring and was top quality, made in the USA and not China like some of the others.

I've found the schematics really clear and the instructions are well laid out. It has all the connectors and firewall plugs and the wiring is labeled every few inches. I picked it up on eBay for about $330 delivered, which is a bargain in anyone's language. Can't really fault the kit to be honest.
